Location

Manhattan Microlensing 2019 will be held between two venues:

On February 14-15 it will be at the Center for Computational Astrophysics at the Flatiron Institute in midtown Manhattan. On Feb 16-17 it will be held at the American Museum of Natural History in Manhattan's Upper West Side.

The Center for Computational Astrophysics is on the 6th floor of the Flatiron Institute, 162 5th Ave, New York, with its entrance on West 21st St. (Google map link) Check in with the security desk and you'll receive further directions.

The American Museum of Natural History is at Central Park West and West 79th St, and is an easy subway ride (B or C trains to 81st Street).

To enter the museum without a ticket, you'll need to sign in at the main security desk (they'll be expecting you). That desk is found in the Level 1 Entrance on Central Park West. To get there from street level you'll follow the ramps to either side of the steps on Central Park West. See the image below - the green arrow shows one of these ramps. If you come by subway, first exit to street level and then find these ramps.

Once inside the museum, follow the map below to the Davis Classroom West (in red), which is one floor above the security desk entrance.

If you have any trouble, don't hesitate to call one of the organizers. We'll provide that information by email.
